The greatest amenities in Nocatee were not built at all. Rather, they are the significant areas that were developed by nature and have been preserved. More than 60%, nearly 9,000 acres, of Nocatee is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of the natural environment. The recreational opportunities in this unspoiled land are endless.  As part of this next phase of amenities, Nocatee is excited to announce that plans for a Intracoastal Waterway community kayak and paddle sports launch are underway!

The site of this launch will be located at the base of the Nocatee Parkway, on the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway. Nocatee's master-developer is working with St. Johns County to build community members a launching facility for kayaks, canoes and paddle boards at the proposed site. Parking will be only steps away from the paddle sports launch on an existing lot. This new launch will provide easy access to the water for any non-motorized water sports.

This new community amenity is expected to be open February 2014. To learn more details and view renderings of all new community amenities coming soon, click here.
