The birds are chirping, bees buzzing, and the grass is green... spring is so close we can feel it! In lieu of defrosting or shoveling away snow, Nocatee residents are heading outside to enjoy Florida's year-round sunshine and longer days. Opportunities for outdoor recreation and fitness are plentiful at the master-planned community.
Run, Walk, Bike
The Nocatee Greenway consists of more than 5,000 acres of connected parks, protected wildlife corridors, and wetlands preserves. Nocatee’s extensive Greenway Trails, offers residents the chance to enjoy the natural landscape and observe nature. Along the trails, marked overlooks provide resting spots with beautiful vistas as the wind through extraordinary scenery in this natural paradise. These multi-use paths are designed for biking, walking, running or EV's (electric-vehicles). The launch is located at the base of the Nocatee Parkway, on the west side of the Intracoastal Waterway. On-site parking makes it convenient for residents and locals alike to easily launch their kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and canoes (any non-motorized paddle sports equipment).
The newest outdoor recreational amenity is the Nocatee Landing. Here, outdoor enthusiasts will soon be able to launch non-motorized water vehicles and explore the local waterways.
