Nocatee residents and community guests enjoyed a very special Christmas Festival themed Farmers Market on Saturday, December 21st.
The day of family-friendly fun included musical performances from the New Orleans-style Dixieland group, TGIF, one of thirteen official U.S. Navy Bands, Santa & Mrs. Claus photo opportunities, large petting zoo, train rides, inflatable slides, food trucks and a holiday Kid’s Kraft station. Families enjoyed listening to the band as they browsed for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts under sunny skies in the lively and festive holiday atmosphere.
In addition to the live-performances, holiday photo opportunities, large petting zoo, train rides, inflatable slides and staffed Kid’s Kraft station, attendees also enjoyed more than eighty local vendors offering a wide variety of delights that included baked goods, organic produce, honeys, local restaurant favorites, hand-crafted jewelry, artwork, herbs/spices and more at the newly relocated Farmers Market Field in Nocatee’s Town Center. The community Market is held every third Saturday of the month between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and is open to the public.
