Written by Carling Povtak | 12/17/14 9:39 PM

Nocatee will be hosting a festive Christmas Festival and Holiday themed Nocatee Farmers Market on Saturday, December 20th, at the Nocatee Town Center.

This month's Holiday themed farmers market will include a variety of festive activities to help remind Floridians that Christms and the "cold weather" is here! Santa and Mrs. Claus, a petting zoo, free face painting, train rides, inflatable slides and Jacksonville area favorite food truck fare is sure to please all ages. Market attendees will also enjoy bluegrass music by the Florida native band, Big Cypress.

The unique combination of famers market and outdoor concert setting on the field will allow shoppers to enjoy live music while browsing for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.

At every market, attendees enjoy more than eighty local vendors. These vendors and local businesses proudly offer a wide variety of unique delights that include baked goods, organic produce, honeys, local restaurant favorites, hand-crafted jewelry, artwork, herbs/spices and more.

If you haven't had your picture taken with Santa yet, join residents on the newly relocated Farmers Market Field in Nocateeā€™s Town Center on Saturday. Nocatee's monthly farmers markets are held every third Saturday of the month between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and are open to the public.
