Back-to-School Tips to kick off the 2016-2017 School Year

Summer camps and staycations are drawing to a close for many Nocatee families as the beginning of a brand new school year is drawing near. Before the school bell starts ringing, consider these 7 tips to minimize the pain for both students and parents:


1. Take your kids shopping for school supplies. Get them excited about going back to school by allowing them to showcase their personalities through folders, pencils, backpacks and other school supplies. Be sure you have the teacher’s list of required items before hitting the stores.

St. Johns County School Board Announces 2014-2015 School Year Zoning

The St. Johns County School Board met on Tuesday (November 19th) to finalize the rezoning for St. Johns County Schools that include two new kindergarten through eighth grade schools under construction, one of them located in Nocatee. The School Board approved “Plan A” that sends students in Nocatee’s eastern neighborhoods, including Austin Park, Greenleaf Village, Greenleaf Preserve and Willowcove to the new Nocatee K-8 School adjacent to Greenleaf Village.
