Nocatee is excited to announce that the Jacksonville Funk-N-Run 5K will be here Saturday, March 1st. This 3-in-1 event will begin in the heart of Nocatee’s Town Center, starting at 9:00 a.m. The three events featured in this family friendly event include a Funk-N-Run 5K, a military-style Funk-N-Challenge Obstacle Course and a Kid’s Obstacle Challenge.

Nocatee residents have two unique and exciting resident events this week! The second annual Nocatee Oktoberfest is Friday evening inside Splash Water Park, along with the fourth annual Family Pumpkin Carving to be held on Sunday also at Nocatee's Splash.

Over 300 residents took part in a Nocatee Labor Day Luau in Splash Waterpark on Saturday evening! Residents enjoyed the resort-style community waterpark before wandering over Labor Day Luau festivities set up on the Splash Waterpark Stage and event lawn. Families were amazed by Prince Pele's Polynesian hula dancers, keikis (children hula dancers), fire dancers and authentic ukelele playing! The interactive evening included hula dance lessons, conch shell blowing demonstrations, hula-hoop competitions and and dance party. Splash Waterpark's Lil' Fox Pizzeria offered their normal menu, as well as special luau-inspired dishes like Hawaiian pizza and pulled-pork sliders. After an evening of entertainment and live-music, all residents left with smiles on their faces and colorful leis around their necks!

Happy Labor Day Weekend, Nocatee Blog Readers! We hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend ahead, we know residents are looking forward to Nocatee's annual Labor Day Luau in Splash Waterpark tomorrow evening! The evening of fun has been designed with residents of all ages in mind. The interactive Polynesian Show and Samoan Sword Dancer Performance, featuring Jacksonville's original hula dancers, will kick off at 7 p.m. on the Splash Waterpark stage and event lawn. Families can expect to be amazed by Prince Pele's Polynesian hula dancers, keikis (children hula dancers), ukelele player and even a fire-dance display! Residents and community guests will be celebrating a “Comedy and Magic Extravaganza” themed Nocatee Farmers Market on SATURDAY (August 17th)! The day of family-friendly fun will include multiple performances from magicians Nick Paul and Mark Alan at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. Each show is set to include entertaining and magical feats, crowd participation and more on the centrally located Farmers Market Stage.
In addition to these performances, there will also be a “strolling magician,” photo opportunities, inflatable slides, activities for the kids and more. Joining this month’s special entertainment will be more than 80 local vendors offering a wide variety of delights that will include baked goods, organic produce, honeys, local restaurant favorites, hand-crafted jewelry, artwork, herbs/spices and more at the newly relocated Farmers Market Field in Nocatee’s Town Center. The Market is held every third Saturday of the month between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and is open to the public.

Over 3,500 residents and community guests gathered for a “BMX-Treme” themed Farmers Market on July 20th, in the Nocatee Town Center. The day of family-friendly fun featured three action packed BMX stunt shows from X-Games’ medalists who demonstrated various half-pipe and flatland tricks. Perfection on Wheel’s BMX Pros Trick Team wowed the crowd with a variety of stunts at each of their three shows.
