The Nocatee communitywelcomed the Jacksonville Jaguars and over 5,000 residents & community guests on Saturday, May 18th, for the May Nocatee Farmers Market. Record-breaking Nocatee Farmers Market attendance made this the biggest rally the Jags have had this year.
The Jacksonville Jaguars, including NEW Head Coach Gus Bradley, 2013 Draft Picks Luke Joeckel and Ace Sanders, former Jags players, ROAR Cheerleaders and Jaxon de Ville joined residents on the Farmers Market Field. The day of family-friendly fun included player photos/autographs, a D-Line lead pep-rally with the entire team, “Q&A with Gus” and inflatable & interactive Jaguar games made this an especially fun community event. Another unique and permanent feature at this month’s farmers market was the new Island Green that allows golfers and non-golfers alike to practice their swing directly beside Nocatee’s Town Center.
Joining this month’s special entertainment was more than 80 local vendors offering a wide variety of delights that included, baked goods, organic produce, honeys, local restaurant favorites, hand-crafted jewelry, artwork, herbs/spices and more at the newly relocated Farmers Market Field behind Nocatee’s Town Center.
