Nocatee residents are set for a day of family-friendly fun on Saturday, July 5th! Beginning with the third annual Nocatee Amazing Adventure Race at 11:00 a.m., and immediately followed by the community's annual Nocatee Independence Day Celebration from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Both events will take place inside Nocatee's resort-style amenity, Splash Water Park.
Nocatee's Amazing Adventure Race is an interactive scavenger-hunt modeled after the hit CBS TV Series, The Amazing Race. Residents love living in a community that will bring hit TV shows to life with an event that's fun for the entire family. Nocatee residents are encouraged to form teams of two to six players for their own chance at an "Amazing Race" style dash around Splash Water Park. Spectators are welcome to come out and cheer on fellow community members as they solve tricky riddles, plot their best route, and race to be the first across the finish line.
Race participants and spectators alike are encouraged to stick around after the Amazing Adventure Race Awards Ceremony as the fun continues with the annual Independence Day Celebration. This FREE event is designed for residents of all ages, and will feature performances by the "Steel of the Night" Steel Drum Band, water park games, strolling balloonist and more! Splash Water Park's Rip Tide Slides and Lazy Tides River will also be operating during the event.
