Nocatee hosted the 2013 Color In Motion Jacksonville 5K on Saturday, November 9th. This marked the second consecutive year that Color In Motion 5K has held their annual Northeast Florida color-run at Nocatee. This year, Color In Motion 5K raised over $2,000 for local non-profit, Hunger Fight.
A wide variety of more than 1,300 residents and community guests came out for the unique 5K experience that started and ended at the Nocatee Town Center. The 5K course took runners and walkers through the coastal community of neighborhoods and nature trails, where they were dusted with bright colors. Participants then enjoyed a “Color Bash” Party at Nocatee’s Town Center that concluded the colorful and high energy morning. Along with reporters and photographers from the Florida-Times Union and Ponte Vedra Recorder, the Nocatee TV Station was on site capturing this Nocatee event.
