Nocatee is excited to announce that the community will host the 2014 Flavor Run Jacksonville 5K on April 5, 2013. Earlier this month, Nocatee was selected to host the Color In Motion Jacksonville 5K, another unique race phenomena that hosts events nationwide and attracted thousands of residents and community guests to Nocatee.
The Flavor Run partners with host cities’ local charities and businesses, and will announce their Jacksonville partnerships as the event date grows closer. Along the 5K course there will be “Flavor Stations” set-up to lightly mist runners in “fruit flavored (FDA Approved/All Natural Corn Starch) celebration color powder that has a refreshing taste of delicious fruits,” according to their website. The Nocatee Town Center will host the “Post-Run Flavor Zone,” set to include complementary fruit, vendors, live entertainment and children’s activities. The Flavor Run promises to “engage all of your senses” and “make you smile!”
