Nocatee builders and The PARC Group, Nocatee’s master developer, hosted a new Nocatee Neighborhood Grand Opening, on February 10, for its newest collection of neighborhoods, Crosswater at Nocatee. Nearly 2,000 residents and community guests came out to celebrate and enjoy event festivities.
Attendees felt as if they’d stepped back in time as they toured the 12 new, designer-decorated model-homes. From picturesque tree-lined streets to quaint white fences, front porches, and American flags flying proudly, the neighborhoods of Crosswater harken back to old-town America. The aroma of the back-yard grill and the sound of doo wop style tunes generated a nostalgic environment enticing for all.
The family-friendly event portrayed an array of “old town” festivities ranging from life-sized yard games to a classic car display- including a Mayberry-themed Sheriff’s car. Homebuilders served an assortment of American favorites including cotton candy, apple pie, and assorted kettle corn. Entertainment was provided by strolling paper-boys, magicians, stilt walkers, balloon artists, and more. Many patrons hopped aboard the trolley for a guided and air-conditioned ride around the block. Event festivities were capped by a Kid’s 50’s Style Costume Contest that awarded the winner with a trip to Walt Disney World.
Crosswater at Nocatee consists of three neighborhoods: Heritage Trace, with 188 home sites, Freedom Landing, with 106 home sites, and Liberty Cove with 138 home sites. Homebuilders include CalAtlantic Homes, David Weekley Homes, Providence Homes, ICI Homes and Riverside Homes, a first-time builder in Nocatee. Floor plans have been released on Nocatee.com and the beautifully designed model-homes officially opened in January 2018.
