Nocatee residents and their friends can ring in 2015 in Ponte Vedra, Florida, with two unique Nocatee traditions! On Wednesday, December 31st, all residents are encouraged to join fellow community members for the day-time Noon Year’s Eve Party and/or the adults-only Nocatee New Year’s Eve Gala later that evening.
Noon Year’s Eve Party celebration is a family-friendly event that kicks off at 11:00 a.m. inside Splash Water Park on Wednesday, December 31st. Here, families can bring in the new year with games, good ole’ festive fun, a professional DJ, a friendly clown, Splash Water Park characters, bounce houses, a magic show, crafts, and more. Another exciting element of the festive event – Nocatee’s unique (and family friendly) spin on a traditional midnight countdown… Nocatee’s Countdown to Noon balloon drop!
For ages 21 and up, the New Year’s Eve festivities continue at Crosswater Hall that evening with the Nocatee New Year’s Eve Gala. Beginning at 9:00 p.m., residents and their friends will be welcomed into the beautifully decorated and elegant Nocatee Room at Crosswater Hall. This year, residents can look forward to dressing up for a night of extravagance filled with dancing, hor d'oeuvres, photo booths, a midnight champagne toast, and live music by local songstress, Leny Beltran! Attendees will also have the chance to place New Year’s resolutions on the “Nocatee Resolution Tree.” The fun New Year's activity was a hit at last year's gala... it's sure to be popular again this year!
“Our New Year’s Eve Galas are something that many Nocatee adults look forward to all year long,” says Nocatee Community Events Coordinator, Erin Scott. “We are especially excited for this 2015 Gala,” she added.
