PARC Group, Nocatee’s master developer, has unveiled plans for the first two neighborhoods in its Twenty Mile community.
The Island at Twenty Mile and The Pointe at Twenty Mile will feature upscale homes built by David Weekley Homes, Standard Pacific Homes and ICI Homes. Homes will start in the Low $500’s and will be situated on the largest lots to date in Nocatee, all with preserve or lake views.
Twenty Mile will be one of Nocatee’s most distinctive communities, with large oak trees, split-rail fencing and a rustic, old-Florida style. Located in St. Johns County near the Intracoastal Waterway, Twenty Mile is the site of the historic “Twenty Mile House,” a 1700s military outpost that served as a way station at the 20 mile halfway mark between Spanish St. Augustine and fortified St. Johns Bluff.
“With its unique history, sprawling oak canopy and rustic, old-Florida style, Twenty Mile offers Northeast Florida homebuyers a unique opportunity,” said The PARC Group President Rick Ray. “As we continue to expand, our goal is to meet a wide variety of needs and tastes with each new community.”
The two new neighborhoods are the latest in a series of additions to Nocatee, now the nation’s third best-selling master-planned community. Overall, Nocatee home sales are up 21 percent this year, with 505 new homes sold in the first six months of 2014. Recent additions include four new neighborhoods—Addison Park, Siena, Greenleaf Lakes and Cypress Trails—and an expansion of Splash Water Park.
A junior Olympic-size swimming pool and new athletic courts near Splash Water Park are also now open.
