Chad and Keely knew they wanted to relocate to a community that offered plenty of protected green space to enjoy with family and friends. They found it at Nocatee, which delivered the promise to [protect the natural environment](https://blog.nocatee.com/green-space-a-hallmark-of-master-planned-communities) around them. It was unique within new home communities in [Northeast Florida.](http://nocatee.com/location/)

> “We are thrilled with the recreational opportunities offered to families at Nocatee. Whether it’s running the Greenway Trails, hiking the Nocatee Preserve, swimming at Splash Water Park or exploring the dog parks, there is so much we look forward to integrating into our day-to-day routines,” remarks Chad.

In addition to [outdoor recreation](https://blog.nocatee.com/six-must-see-northeast-florida-hiking-destinations) in the Jacksonville area and right at their home, Chad and Keely will soon become involved and active with fellow residents. Whether at Splash Water Park and Food Truck Events on sunny weekends or at one of the various clubs meetings, they are sure to make friends fast. “The strong social fabric and promise of comradery with fellow Nocatee families is exciting," says Keely.
