A Wendy’s fast-food restaurant is coming to the Nocatee Town Center, the retail, restaurant and office center of Nocatee, the nation’s third fastest-growing master-planned community. The new restaurant will be located off Crosswater Parkway, close to future Baptist Health facility. Construction is set to begin this winter and be complete in 2015.

The new Wendy’s restaurant joins a host of other restaurants, stores and specialty shops at the Town Center, including the largest Publix Supermarket in Northeast Florida, Dick’s Wings & Grill and Yobe Frozen Yogurt.

Nocatee and its Town Center continue to grow at record pace. In July, Nocatee’s master developer, The PARC Group, announced the newest Town Center neighborhoods, Addison Park and Siena. Addison Park is perfect for those interested in an urban, coastal lifestyle, while Siena features homes with Mediterranean flair. Located a short walk from the Town Center, both communities are located within walking distance of dining, shopping and other services.

In addition to the new Wendy’s restaurant, the Town Center will welcome new office and retail space soon. Daily’s gas station, car wash, and convenience store will be opening in October, and Baptist has broken ground on a primary care facility.  Construction begins in October on the Town Plaza Offices at Nocatee, which will include four 7,500-square-foot office buildings. Regency Centers has also begun construction on a new retail building, which will house Rainbow Pediatric Center, Re/Max Unlimited, Trompe L’oeil Salon and a UPS Store.

Overall, Nocatee home sales are up 21 percent this year, with 505 homes sold in the first six months of 2014. Five new Nocatee neighborhoods have opened this year, and four more will be announced in the coming weeks. In addition to these nine new communities, a Nocatee fire station is currently under construction across from Nocatee’s Splash Waterpark.
